Senior Quality Engineer
Education / Licensing / Certification Requirements:
- B.S. or B.A. degree
- ISO 13485 and ASQ Certified Quality Auditor certifications preferred
Experience Requirements:
- Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
- Good working knowledge of PC operations and software (Word processing and spreadsheet).
- Good typing skills.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and generate and maintain bar graphs.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
Required Education / Licensing/ Certification:
- High school/GED, or one year related experience.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Physical Requirements/ Work Environment:
- Machine shop working environment. Dust, grease and metal shavings common.
- Significant safety risks from equipment and environment require constant vigilance and care.
- Overtime may be required during peak business periods and to meet rush requirements.
- Ability to lift, carry and hold up to 50 pounds.
Position Overview: Performs office or clerical duties that are moderately complex. Follows set procedures and may exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions. Examples of work performed may include but are not limited to, generating or modifying manufacturing routers, compiling report data, verifying data, completing forms or reports, answering phones, and filing.

Responsibilities (essential job responsibilities):
- Keeps track of received data and source documents.
- Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered.
- Contacts originators of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
- Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents.
- Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
- Generates or modifies manufacturing routers as required.
- Keeps record of work completed.
- Files or routes source documents after entry.
- Provides routine office support such as making copies, faxing, answering phones and filing.
- Other duties as assigned.
