OsteoMed specializes in small bone reconstruction and trauma surgical devices targeted primarily to the Oral Maxillofacial, Neuro, Plastic Reconstructive, Otolaryngology (ENT), Podiatry and small bone Orthopedic surgical specialties.

INSPECTOR POSITION   Job Summary:

 

This position is accountable for assuring the quality of the products produced by OsteoMed and its suppliers

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

 
  • Receiving, First Article, In-process, and Final Inspection Duties
  • Engineering Prototype Inspection
  • Returns System’ Support – Inspection of Field Evaluation Inventory
  • Processing Inspection (i.e. – Laser Marking, Clean-room Packaging, etc.)
  • Other responsibilities as required and/or assigned

 

Experience/Skills Required:

 
  • 1-2 years minimum experience in inspection
  • Ability to read and understand Blueprints
  • Familiar with hard-dimensioning inspection equipment (i.e. – Micrometers, calipers, Height Masters, Comparator, etc.).  CMM experience a plus!
  • Familiar with database maintenance and data collection
  • Electromechanical background desired (not required)

 

Required Education / Licensing/ Certification:

 

 HS diploma required,  technical certification preferred

 

Physical Requirements/ Work Environment:

 

Lifting requirements- No more than 50 pounds
