The M3-X^TM Extremity Fixation System is a rigid fixation system for hand fractures, arthrodesis and reconstruction procedures. M3-X^TM features solid core lag and fully threaded screws as well as a variety of plates. OsteoMed's lag screw design eliminates the need to overdrill the proximal segment while the low profile head minimizes countersinking.

The OsteoMed M3-X System is comprised of plates, screws and instrumentation used for fixation of small bones and small bone fragments following trauma or osteotomies. The system features plates ranging from .50mm to 1.30mm thick and Lag Screws in diameters of 1.2mm, 2.0mm, 2.4mm and 3.0mm in lengths from 6.0mm to 36.0mm. The instruments include drill bits, plate bending instruments, plate holding forceps, plate cutters, drill guides, cannulae, taps, countersinks and screwdrivers to facilitate the placement of screws and modification of plates. The M3-X System implants, drills, and taps are intended for single use only. All other system instruments are reusable.
