CalFix™ Calcaneal Fixation System

System Information

The OsteoMed CalFix™ Calcaneal Plate and Screw System is comprised of plates and screws made of titanium. The Calcaneal Plate and Screw system features three plates in lengths of 56mm, 65mm, and 74mm and thickness of 1.0mm at the webs to 1.4mm at screw holes. Standard and locking screws are provided in diameters of 3.5mm in lengths of 18mm through 55mm. The system instruments include drill guides, pilot drills, overdrills, depth gauge, drivers, bending pliers, plate cutters, on bone plate bender, Hohmann retractor, periosteal elevator, plate templates, and guide wires to facilitate the placement of plates and screws.

Indications

The OsteoMed CalFix™ Calcaneal Plate and Screw System is indicated for fractures and osteotomies of the calcaneus, including, but not limited to extra-articular, intra-articular, joint depression, tongue type and severely comminuted fractures.
